Raipur(TheStates.news) | Mr. Arvind Tagai, Unit Head of the Machinery Division of Jindal Steel & Power-Raipur, a company headed by eminent industrialist Mr. Naveen Jindal, said that everyone is a security officer. He is responsible not only for his own safety, but he must be dutiful to alert others. Our goal should be zero accidents.
Mr. Tagai was addressing the employees present at the closing ceremony of Safety Week organized at Heritage Park of JSPL today evening. He said that make safety a part of your lifestyle. We have to be aware of safety every second, every minute, every hour, every week, month, and year. We are all members of JSPL family. We all contribute to the development of the institute. No one should get any scratches. Even a small mistake can upset the whole family, so make caution a part of your lifestyle and ensure that an accident-free environment is created.
HR Head Mr. Suryoday Dubey said that we need to be safe everywhere, at home and outside. One has to be alert even when walking on the road, using a helmet while driving a two-wheeler and seat belt while driving a car. Various safety training programs are organized from time to time in JSPL, to make it a part of your lifestyle.
The winners of the slogan writing, poster making, and quiz competitions were awarded at the end of the program. A large number of employees including General Manager Mr. Sunil Gupta, Mr. Ravinder Sharma, Dr. Hidayatullah Khan, Dr. Baghel were present on the occasion. The stage was conducted by Safety Officer Shailendra Kumar Prasad, who also administered the oath of compliance to all the safety standards.
