Kalinga University has been distributing materials required for the development of basic facilities in remote government hospitals. Kalinga University donated a hydraulic delivery table to Government Hospital Arang. Delivery tables are an important equipment in the maternity ward, which plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of both the mother and the newborn baby. They are designed to provide adequate support and comfort to the mother during delivery.
Kalinga University provides necessary basic materials to hospitals located in rural areas from time to time according to their needs, to make the government hospitals located in rural areas fully equipped so that the residents living in rural areas can get the latest medical facilities. Dr. Vijayanand, Chief Proctor-Kalinga University and his team members on behalf of the University handed over the hydraulic delivery table to Dr. Vijayalakshmi Anant, Block Medical Officer of Government Hospital-Arang, which will facilitate the doctors in the hospital to accommodate
delivery and its various stages. Doctors and employees of the hospital were present along with Kalinga University staff members during the handing over of the table.
