Raipur (thesatates.news)| Kalinga University, Raipur a NAAC Accredited University with Grade B+ and Ranked in Top 101-150 Universities of the Country in NIRF Rankings 2022, has been established as a multidisciplinary research focused and student centric university with the aim to support learning that will advance human knowledge to develop and educate the leaders of tomorrow and research that tackles the most pressing problems of the state, the country and the global community.

Kalinga University has always expressed its appreciation towards merit in the academic field and in another commendable initiative in this area, Kalinga University organized a Felicitation Program on 20 th August 2022 at the Auditorium situated in the University campus. All merit holder students of 12 th standard belonging to CBSE and ICSE Board were invited to the event
along with their parents. The Event commenced with a warm welcome by the master of the ceremony where the Guests for the event, Dignitaries from the University, and participants were extended a warm welcome. After the introduction and felicitation of the guests, the gathering paid a tribute to Goddess Saraswati by singing the Saraswati Vandana.
The event had several other attractions other than the Felicitation of Merit Holders. Such as a memory training session by Dr. Awadhesh Patel (Counsellor and Mind Trainer) which gathered extremely positive reviews from the students. Dr. R Shridhar, Vice Chancellor Kalinga University gave a motivational speech, and encouraged the students to work hard and achieve
various milestones in their future. After this session, another informative interaction was taken by Dr. Ajit Varwandkar (Career Psychologist and International Trainer) on Career Counselling which was found extremely helpful by the students and their parents.
Then the felicitation ceremony took place where exciting cash prizes were awarded in the
following categories –
1 st Rank holder Ms. Sambhavi Sharma was awarded Rs. 15000
2 nd Rank holder Ms. Pakhi Dubey was awarded Rs. 12000
3 rd Rank holder Ms. Kinjal Solanki was awarded Rs. 10000
4 th to 10 th Rank holders were awarded Rs. 5000 each
In total, cash prizes worth Rs. 1,10,000 and scholarship were distributed amongst the top 10 rank holders.
This initiative garnered an extremely positive response from the parents of the students who appreciation Kalinga University’s dedication towards motivating and appreciation academic
merit.
