Raipur (thestates.news)| ‘First Step 2022’ Induction Program was organized for the new students of D. Pharma first semester by the Kalinga University at its Campus on Friday. Students were given a warm welcome at the entrance and porch area of the Kalinga University with beats of Dhol.
During the Induction program tilak ceremony was performed to the new students at the entrance of the
Auditorium of Kalinga University. Lighting of traditional lamps with Saraswati Vandana took place. Brief
information was shared to the students through Power Point Presentation (PPT) about Kalinga
University. Introduction of all Dignitaries and department heads were done through PPT. A welcome
dance was presented by Ms. Surbhi Rathi, a student of University.
After the formal inauguration Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar of Kalinga University gave a welcome
speech. He informed that Kalinga is among the top universities of central India. A motivational speech
was presented by Dr. R Shridhar, Vice Chancellor. Group dance was performed by Rithik and the group.
Dr. Byju John, Director General blessed the students. Mr. Shankar Panjwani, a guest speaker and
proprietor of Apex Pharma delivered a motivational speech to the students.
Mr. Simon George and Ms. Shinki Pandey presented a fun game for the students. Introduction of
Deans and Head of the Departments were given through PPT by Mr. Kapil Kelker, Head of Department
of Fashion Designing and Ms. Jasmine Joshi of Management Department. Dr. Sandip Tiwari, Principal,
Faculty of Pharmacy gave introduction of the department.
Dean Academics Affairs Mr. Rahul Mishra gave information on Academics curriculum to the students.
Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr A Vijayanand, Chief Proctor of Kalinga University. Program
concluded with the National Anthem.
