Raipur (thestates.news) | First Step 2022 Induction Program was organised for the new students of BBA and MBA first
semester by Kalinga University at its campus on Wednesday. Students were given a warm welcome at the entrance and porch area of the Kalinga University with beats of Dhol. During the Induction program showering of flowers and tilak was performed for the new students at the entrance of the Auditorium of Kalinga University. Lighting of traditional lamps with Saraswati Vandana took place. Brief information was shared to the students through Power Point Presentation (PPT) about Kalinga University. Introduction of all Dignitaries and department heads were done through PPT. A welcome dance was presented by Ms. Surbhi Rathi, a student of University.
After the formal inauguration Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar of Kalinga University gave a welcome speech. He informed that Kalinga is among the top universities of central India. A motivational speech was presented by Vice Chancellor Dr R Shridhar. Group dance was performed by Rithik and group. Dr Byju John, Director General blessed the students. Dr Ajit Varwandkar, a guest speaker, career Psychologist, International Trainer, Author and Blogger gave a motivational speech to the students. Mr Simon George and Ms Shinki Pandey presented a fun game for the students and distributed prizes for the correct answers. Introduction of Deans and Head of the Departments were given through PPT by Mr Kapil Kelker, Head of Department of Fashion Designing and Ms Jasmine Joshi of Management department. A solo song was presented by student Gourav Gopal. Followed by Introduction of Marketing Team Leaders, Mr Abhishek Sharma, Director Admission, Ms Kajal Singh, Assistant Director Marketing, Ms Sonam Dubey, Senior Marketing Manager and Mr Navin Upadhyay, Senior Marketing Manager.
Introduction of the Management Department was given by Dr Abhishik Tripathi, Dean of
Commerce and Management. Dean Academics Affairs Dr Rahul Mishra gave information on Academics curriculum to the students. Later prizes were distributed to the winners and participants of Drawing and Photography competitions organised under 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava. Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr A Vijayanand, Chief Proctor of Kalinga University. Program concluded with the National Anthem.
