Kalinga University organized Guest Lecture on How Science Should Talk to the Court

Recently on October 11, the Department of Forensic Sciences, Kalinga University organized a guest lecture on How Science should talk to the court. Dr Sunanda Dhenge, Private Forensic Consultant and Specialist, Dhenge Consultancy, Raipur (Chhattisgarh) was present as the guest of honor.
The program was presided over by Professor Dr. CK Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Science. Ms. Ayesha Noori, Forensic Science- 1 st Sem Student conducted the program. The guest speaker, Dr. Dhenge discussed many aspects of science and also threw light on the existence and performance of science in the court. Dr. Dhenge discussed so many high profile murder cases
and pointed that how the knowledge of forensic science helped her to acquit the culprits on the basis of forensic reports. The guest lecture was attended by Students in large numbers. The Students enjoyed the session and interacted with the speaker. The program ended with a vote of thanks by Ms. Apoorva Devangan, Forensic Science- 1 st Sem Student.
