Kalinga University organized Om Meditation Session for all its staff members

Yoga, Faculty of Science organized Om Meditation Session for all staff members of Kalinga University on Saturday 14 th January 2023 at University Auditorium at 11 am.
Dwarka Bhaiji and Anjana Didi of Om Mandir Shiv Shakti Awtar Seva Sansthan, Raipur were the resource persons for the session. Progamme began with lighting of traditional lamp and garlanding of Idol of Goddess Saraswati. Dr R Shridhar, Vice Chancellor of Kalinga University welcomed Anjana Didi with potted plant. In his address Dwarka Bhaiji informed the audience that one should practice Om chanting every morning and evening for 5-10 minutes to experience the benefits. It immediately brings peace of mind and people feel relaxed. Anjana Didi in her address informed the faculties about the power of Om chanting which is a Brahmastra. She stressed that Om is the basis of meeting Almighty. Om is the foundation of welfare of this world. Om is the basis of divine love. Om brings solutions for all problems. Om is the foundation for increasing morale and concentration. It is the basis of positive energy. The sound of Om gives relief from physical and mental stress. Om itself means the union of supreme soul and soul. Beginning of all mantra begins with chanting of Om. It creates an aura around us which protects us from negative energy. She gave live demonstration of Om
meditation and all the faculties experienced the benefits. The auditorium was packed to capacity.
Mementoes presented away to the guests by Dr R Shridhar, Vice Chancellor and Dr Asha Ambhaikar, Dean of Student Welfare. Hall was decorated by Dr Smita Premanand, Faculty of Fashion Designing. Mr. Tumeshwar Sahu of Om Mandali, Shiv Shakti Avtar Sewa Sansthan, Raipur and Dr. Dhanjay Jain Incharge of the program & Assistant Professor, Department of Yoga were present on the occasion.
