Raipur(thestates.news) Kalinga University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with officials from Police Training School (PTS), Mana today. The main purpose of the MoU is to develop academic and educational collaboration and to promote mutual understanding between Kalinga University and PTS.
Dr Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar of Kalinga University informed that the proposed modes of collaboration are mutual visits of academic staff, promoting mutual faculty exchange for academic growth, exchange of students, participation in Seminars, conferences, Workshop, trainings, research and projects, training and development of administrative and technical staff, exchange of academic
resources and other information, activities of PTS, vocational training and short term programs, skill development, up-gradation program, police and defense services and self-employment opportunities.
The MoU will be for a period of three years. On behalf of Kalinga University Dr Sandeep Gandhi signed the MoU in the presence of Mr. Pankaj Tiwari, Director Corporate Training and Consultancy Division of Kalinga University and Mr. Arup Halder, Training and Placement Officer (TPO). On the other side Dr. Irhan-Ul- Rahim Khan, Superintendent of Police, Police Training School Mana signed the MoU in the presence of Mrs. Nidhi Nag, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Police Training School Mana and Ms. Archana Choudhary, DSP PTS. Jitendra Chandra, Reserve Inspector and all staffs of PTS were present during the program held at the Board room of Mana PTS.
It is worth mentioning that Kalinga University is a reputed educational institution in Central India.
