Kalinga University continues this journey of excellence by taking yet another commendable
initiative of organizing an extremely essential seminar, as a part of its Outreach program under
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. Kalinga University is organizing “Free of
Cost” seminar on the topic ‘Career opportunities in Start Ups and Entrepreneurship’ for school
and college final year students, parents, schools / college principals & faculty and anyone who is
seeking knowledge about career options for himself/herself in the field of Design. The resource
person for the seminar is Dr. R. Sridhar (Vice-Chancellor, Kalinga University). The seminar is to
be conducted on 16 th April 2022 (Saturday) 10.00 AM to 12.00PM at the Auditorium in Kalinga
University Campus.
The seminar will shed light on how to make a career in the field of Start-ups and how to be
successful in entrepreneurship. There are a variety of advantages of working for a startup. As
startups have fewer employees than large, established companies, employees tend to wear many
hats, work in a variety of roles, which undertakes more responsibility as well as opportunities to
learn.
Entrepreneurship is the ability and readiness to develop, organize and run a business enterprise,
along with any of its uncertainties in order to make a profit. The most prominent example of
entrepreneurship is the starting of new businesses. Having knowledge of various subjects in
business, finance and management will strengthen your expertise in entrepreneurship by
building a strong theoretical foundation. Hence, this seminar will prove to be the need of
the hour for students and any other individual looking for valuable guidance in this field.
