Leader of Opposition Rajya Sabha, MP Mallikarjun Kharge along with CM Bhupesh Baghel visited various stalls set up in Kodatrai

Minister Duo Interacted with the beneficiaries, took information about the benefits they have received from public welfare schemes

Distribution of goods and cheques to 3088 beneficiaries of various government schemes

Raipur (thestates.news) | At the ‘Bharose Ka Sammelan’ organized in Kodatrai area of Raigarh district today, Leader of Opposition Rajya Sabha and MP Mr Mallikarjun Kharge and Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel visited the stalls set up by goverrnment departments at the venue. The Minister duo interacted with the beneficiaries present in the stalls and took information regarding the benefits they have received under various beneficiary-oriented schemes. At the event, various goods and cheques of financial aids amounting to Rs 9 crore 8 lakh 35 thousand were distributed to 3088 beneficiaries under various government schemes. An exhibition was also organized at the ‘Bharose Ka Sammelan’ today to showcase the achievements and schemes of various departments.

     At the program, the dignitaries visited the stalls displaying millet processing unit of Lakshmi Group Dogitarai, bellmetal sculptures of Tarda RIPA, Sambalpuri sarees, shirts and other products, pottery of RIPA Lailunga, jute bags of RIPA Tamnar, bakery material, bamboo craft of Bhupdevpur Rural Industrial Park and the stall of school bags and cow dung paint, phenyl etc set up by Supa RIPA.

      At the program, various products made from minor forest produce including anti-diabetic powder, Gudmar powder, Harra powder, Amalaki powder, Triphala powder, Ashwagandha powder were displayed by Forest and Climate Change Department, Forest Division Raigarh Dharamjaygarh, District Raigarh. Moreover, models of Narva Development Scheme, Vriksh Sampada Yojana, Krishna Kunj etc. were also displayed by the Forest and Climate Change Department. Women and Child Development Department officials presented Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel a photo frame made by the parents of children benefited under Mukhyamatri Suposhan Abhiyan. Chief Minister presented a cheque of Rs 1 lakh under Chhattisgarh Mahila Fund to Mrs. Padma, President of ten-member Harit Lakshmi Self Help Group, Saraipali.

       While observing the stall set up by Silk Department, Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge and Mr. Bhupesh Baghel spoke to Ms. Sumati Shah, President of Kalyani Self Help Group and the beneficiary of Silk Samagra Scheme, and took information about the cocoon threading work. Ms. Sumati Shah told that the work of Kosa thread production has helped her improve her financial condition and meet the needs of her family. Silk Department had also displayed the Tussar spun yarn, Mulberry cocoon, Tussar field, Tussar vermiculture etc. at the stall.

       Achievements and information about the schemes such as Haat Bazaar Clinic Yojana of Health and Family Welfare Department, Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre, Hamar Lab, Shri Dhanwantari Generic Medical Store Scheme of Urban Administration and Development Department, Chief Minister Urban Slum Health Scheme, Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana, Bari Scheme of Horticulture Department, and various departmental activities and schemes of Public Health Department, Fisheries Department, School Education Department were also displayed at the exhibition held at “Bharose Ka Sammelan”.
