Raipur (thestates.news) The most auspicious ceremonial occasion investiture ceremony of the Kaanger Valley Academy, Raipur was celebrated on 11 th July, 2024 with full zeal zest and enthusiasm. The investiture ceremony is one of the momentous occasions when the school entrusts hope, faith and the mantle of responsibility to the newly appointed school cabinet. This ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly office bearers.
The honourable chief guest Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh, IAS,Collector and DM Raipur district
graced the occasion. A garland of motivational words by him guided the Students Council
Members to be the role models and render their responsibilities sincerely as the nation
builders of tomorrow and be proud to be an Indian.
During the ceremony KVA revealed its new council.
The school Head boy Mahavir Jain and Head girl Samriddhi Rampuria of class XII along
with the captains Siddhanta Goyal, Avani Mittal, Anshumali Singh, Ishika Begani, Divya
Gera, Shubhi Shukla, Eeshan Chandrawanshi and Mansi Agrawal who were awarded with
prestigious titles of Captains. Sandeep Chakraborty, Sanvi, Dwivedi, Arav Agrawal, Arnav
Tikaria and Ritika Gupta were appointed as Vice Captains.
The Executive Director of the school administered the oath-taking ceremony.
In a bid to promote environmental sustainability and create a healthier future for our students,
KVA is excited to announce the launch of its plastic free environment initiative. This ground
breaking program aims to reduce plastic waste within the school premises and educate
students on the importance of environmental conservation.
To mark the commencement of this initiative KVAs youth club, a special event featuring the
unveiling of a dedicated poster designed by our talented students. The poster highlighted the
key aspect of our plastic free campaign and serve as a constant reminder of our commitment
to the environment.
The esteemed Chief Patron, Shri Swaroop Chand Ji Jain, imparted his heartfelt blessings
upon the captivated audience. He awarded a guest memento to honour the presence of the
Chief Guest in this event.
An annual tree plantation drive was organised as part of the celebration. In the company of
guests, the council members actively participated in the planting of saplings.
The vote of thanks was proposed by the Vice Principal, Ms Saritya Nayak who shared her
gratitude towards the guests, learners, teaching, and non-teaching staff for their efforts to
make the programme a success.
This event marked the presence of Mr. Sanjay Jain, Chairman of Kaanger Valley Academy,
Ms. Rakhi Jain, Secretary KVA, Mr. Abhijith Das, Principal and the board member of KVA
Society- Sara Jain and Rhea Jain along with the teachers who made this a successful event.
