CM Chairs the Review Meeting of Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment Department
Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has directed officials to ensure that young people become self-reliant by providing them with extensive skill-upgradation training. He stated that several new industries are set to be established in Chhattisgarh in the coming years, creating significant employment opportunities for the state’s youth. The Chief Minister was reviewing the functioning of the Skill Development, Technical Education, Employment and Training Department at Mahanadi Bhawan on February 3. He also instructed officials to organise employment fairs at regular intervals across various districts of the state.
During the review, the Chief Minister laid special emphasis on making the state’s youth employment-oriented and on modernising technical institutions. He stated that modernising Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) would ensure training aligned with industry requirements, thereby expanding employment opportunities in the state. The Chief Minister approved the proposal to integrate the CSSDA with the State Project Livelihood College Society and directed officials to initiate the process without delay. He also instructed that the rational deployment of Assistant Directors and Assistant Project Officers be ensured in districts. Directions were given for the effective implementation of the Aadhaar-Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) at training centres and for further strengthening the feedback module to obtain inputs from trained youth.
