Lord Krishna’s life inspires us to walk the path of righteousness, duty, and public welfare – CM Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended the grand Sri Krishna Janmashtami festival held today at the Sri Sri Radha Rasbihari Ji Temple (ISKCON Raipur) in Tatibandh, Raipur. Amidst a devotional atmosphere, the Chief Minister offered prayers and performed the Shankh Abhishek (ritual bathing with a conch shell) after paying obeisance to Lord Krishna and Radharani. He also prayed for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state.

Extending his greetings to the people of the state and the devotees present on the auspicious occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami, Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that the entire life of Lord Krishna inspires human society to follow the path of righteousness (Dharma), duty, and public welfare. The message of Karma Yoga imparted by Lord Krishna through the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita continues to guide humanity to move forward steadfastly on the path of duty amidst life’s challenges.

Chief Minister Shri Sai remarked that Janmashtami is not merely a celebration of Lord Krishna’s birth but also an opportunity to internalize his life philosophy and ideals. Through his life, Lord Krishna conveyed the message of standing up against injustice, upholding righteousness, and supporting the weaker sections of society. His teachings have inspired Indian society for ages.
