Mumbai (Thestates.news) | Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis flagged off 3 ambulances to be presented to the States of Meghalaya, Mizoram and Tripura on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Fri (26 July).
Symbolic keys of the ambulances were presented by the Governor to the representatives of the Sainik Welfare Boards of the three States.
The Ambulances gifted by the ‘Atharva Foundation’ Borivali Mumbai will be used to provide healthcare services to the retired jawans and family members of the martyrs of the Armed forces.
President of the Atharva Foundation and Borivali MLA Sunil Rane, Vice President Varsha Rane, army veteran Col S Chatterjee and officers and jawans of the 15 Assam Regiment were present.
