Maharashtra Governor given ‘Jain Hiteshi Award’ by Gurudevshri Rakeshji

Mumbai (Thestates.news)| Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais attended the Satsang discourse by revered Gurudevshri RakeshJi, Spiritual head of the Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur on the occasion of ‘Paryushan Mahaparva’ in Mumbai on Wed (13 Sept). 
Pujya Gurudevji conferred the title of ‘Jain Dharma Hiteshi’ on Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais for the latter’s role in preventing the Jain Teertha Sthal of ‘Shri Sammet Shikharji’ from becoming a tourist place. 
In his address the Governor complimented the Shrimad Rajchandra Mission for its services to humanity and muted animals. The Governor highlighted the importance of Paryushan Parva for creating harmony in society.
The Governor accompanied by Pujya Gurudevshri released the books ‘Dealing With Anger Effectively’ and ‘Releasing Anger Meditation’.
