Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais pays tributes to Jain Sant Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj

Mumbai (| Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais has expressed grief over the passing of Jain Sant Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj who took Samadhi in Dongargarh. In a condolence message, Governor Bais said: ” Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj’s life was dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge, tapasya and welfare of humanity.  A profound scholar of Sanskrit and Prakrit languages, Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj enlightened the masses through sermons, writings and poems. He showed the people the path of enlightenment and salvation.
In his passing, the nation has lost a Rashtra Sant and social reformer. His thoughts are eternal and will continue to guide humanity on the path of righteousness. I offer my Pranams to this great Acharya and convey my condolences to his disciples and followers.”
