Raipur, (thestates.news )The health department of Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) has ordered to keep all sloughter houses and meat shops closed on Gandhi Jayanti on October 2 in compliance with the order of environment and urban development department of Chhattisgarh Government. With this order, sale of meat will remain prohibited on Gandhi Jayanti in all 70 wards of Raipur Municipal Corporation. The RMC has also warned of stern action against those violating prohibitory order on Gandhi Jayanti. Meanwhile Municipal Commissioner Shiv Anant Tayal has warned the zone commissioners and zone health officers of disciplinary action for laxity in ensuring compliance of prohibitory order.
