Raipur (thestates.news) Every year, June 15 is celebrated as Road Safety Day. MMI Narayana Hospital organized a road safety awareness program in which more than 500 people participated enthusiastically. The main objective of this program was to raise awareness about road safety and to emphasize the importance of following traffic rules. Through engaging activities such as Zumba and street plays, people were informed about the critical aspects of road safety.
Prominent roles in this significant event were played by MMI Narayana Hospital’s doctors, including Dr. H.P. Sinha, Dr. Prashant Kumar, Dr. Ghanshyam Sarapadi, Dr. Akshay Kiledar, and Dr. Ajay Mishra. These expert doctors shared their knowledge and experience, highlighting the importance of road safety. MMI Narayana Hospital has always prioritized community service and safety, reinforcing this commitment through the program.
The presence of notable guests such as AIG Traffic Sanjay Sharma- Chairman of the Inter-Departmental Lead Agency Road Safety, Shaji Lukoji Regional Business Head CG My FM, Mr. Gurjit Singh DSP Traffic Raipur, and Mr. Tikelal Bhoi Traffic Trainer, added significant value to the program. These distinguished guests raised awareness about road safety and shared their insights with the audience.
The traffic police department played a crucial role in the program, enhancing awareness about road safety and encouraging adherence to traffic rules. Their active contribution ensured the program’s success and safety. We extend our gratitude to the traffic police for their collaboration in making this event successful. Under the Good Samaritan initiative selected by the traffic department, four youths were honored by MMI Narayana Hospital for assisting road accident victims.
