New Delhi,(thestates.news) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi informed about his participation in the G-7 summit on Monday. He said that many global issues will be discussed in the conference. Giving information on the G-7 summit, the Prime Minister tweeted, I will be attending the G-7 Summit today in which we will discuss various important global issues.Along with the tweet, he also shared a video of the grand welcome and meeting with members of the overseas Indian organisations during his visit to Germany. The Prime Minister said that this video is of a special welcome and vibrant community event from yesterday.
PM Modi is currently visiting Schloss Elmau, Germany, at the invitation of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, for the G-7 summit under the German chairmanship. Germany has also invited other democracies such as Argentina, Indonesia, Senegal and South Africa to the G7 summit as part of efforts to strengthen international cooperation. During the various sessions of the conference, current affairs such as environment, energy, climate, food security, health, counter terrorism, gender equality and democracy will be discussed.(HS)
