Modi’s visit to Gujarat after swooping four out of five states

New Delhi, (The States. news)| Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Gujarat from 11th to 12th March. There he will attend and inaugurate several events including 11th Khel Mahakumbh and attend Gujarat Panchayat Mahasammelan. On Friday, he will attend Gujarat Panchayat Mahasammelan and will address the crowd there. There will be over 1 lakh people there from 33 district panchayats, 248 taluka panchayats and over 14,500 gram panchayats.

The next day, on Saturday, he will deliver the first Convocation address at Rashtriya Raksha University . Rashtriya Raksha University is a government set up National Police University, set up by Government of Gujarat in 2010, to fuel the quality manpower in police, criminal justice and correctional administration. The university of national importance began from October, 2020 and works to develop various fields related to police with the help of private sector for knowledge and resources.

RRU offers diploma and doctorate level degrees in policing and internal security programs. Among the programs there are- police science and management, criminal law and justice, cyber psychology, information technology, artificial intelligence and cyber security, crime investigation, strategic languages, internal defence and strategies, physical education and sports, coastal and maritime security.

Later in the evening, PM will inaugurate the 11th Khel Mahakumbh and address the audience there. Khel Mahakumbh accomodates people of all ago, with age cap participation is seen from across the state. Traditional sports like kabaddi, kho-kho, tug of war, yogasana, mallakhambh and modern sports like artistic skating, tennis and fencing are played during the event.
