Raipur (thestates.news) |Chhattisgarh Governor Shri Biswabhusan Harichandan administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed minister Shri Mohan Markam at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan here today. Shri Markam solemnly took the oath in Hindi, pledging his commitment to his position. Following the oath-taking, Governor Shri Harichandan and Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel extended their warm congratulations to Shri Markam and presented him with a bouquet of flowers.
The event witnessed the presence of Assembly Speaker Dr Charan Das Mahant, Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, Forest Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Anila Bhediya, Industries Minister Shri Kawasi Lakhma, Revenue Minister Shri Jai Singh Agarwal, Urban Administration Minister Shri Shiv Kumar Dahariya, Public Health Engineering Minister Shri Guru Rudra Kumar as well as parliamentary secretaries, MLAs, Chairman of Municipal Corporation, other public representatives, and esteemed citizens.
The proceedings of the ceremony were diligently conducted under the guidance of Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain. Additional Chief Secretary Shri Subrat Sahoo, Governor’s Secretary Shri Amrit Kumar Khalkho, and other senior administrative officials were also present on the occasion.
