‘‘Mukhyamantri Vriksha Sampada Yojana”

Provision of Rs 100 crore in the budget for successful implementation of the scheme

Annual income of farmers from 15 to 50 thousand rupees per acre

Raipur (thestates.news)| Chief Minister, Bhupesh Baghel, has announced the implementation of the “Mukhyamantri Vriksha Sampada Yojana” in light of the enormous potential for boosting the commercial use of trees in the state. The commercial plantation is to be done on farmers’ land with their cooperation under the initiative, with the goal of boosting their income. A provision of Rs 100 crore has been allocated in the budget presented by Chief Minister Mr. Baghel for the financial year 2023-24 to ensure its smooth implementation in the state.

Following Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s announcement to implement the “Mukhyamantri Vriksha Sampada Yojana” in Chhattisgarh with the goal of promoting commercial tree plantation, the Forest Department has begun preparing for the implementation of the scheme in Chhattisgarh and preparations are in full swing. So far, more than 19,000 beneficiaries have been enrolled for planting in around 30,000 acres of private land under the efficient leadership of Forest and Climate Change Minister Mohammad Akbar and the direction of Manoj Pingua, Senior Secretary, Forest Department.
