Raipur (thestates.news) | Attempts are being made to restart the Nal Jal Yojana built under the National Rural Drinking Water Programme in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district. Public Health Engineering Department officials inspected the Nal Jal scheme in Jarondha and tested the technical aspects for restarting it.
In this regard, officials from the Public Health Engineering Department stated that steps are being taken to restore power supply in order to restart the scheme. In addition, the Nal Jal Yojana is being tested by connecting it to a new water supply. If the test is successful, the village’s drinking water supply will be partially restored before the summer season through this scheme. This scheme has been included under Jarondha Group Water Supply Scheme Bardar Katkona, which is part of the Jal Jeevan Mission. A tender for this is currently being prepared.
