Now Gadaipara residents no longer have to travel long distances to get their ration

Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday reached Kudargarh village of Bhatgaon assembly constituency as a part of his meet and greet campaign. During the ‘Jan Chaupal’, Mr. Harilal, a resident of Gadaipara, told Chief Minister that a total of 25 families of his area had to travel long distance of nearly 16 km, passing via hilly terrain, to reach Kudargarh to get their share of ration from the ration shop. This takes about two and a half hours. Sometimes, they even have to take another long and difficult route of about 35 km, walking along rocky roads, crossing rivers and streams.

He urged the Chief Minister that his village should be connected with the nearby Gram Panchayat Ghudai so that they can get ration easily and the villagers do not face any difficulties. To redress his problem, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel immediately instructed officials concerned to add the names of all beneficiaries in the ration shop near their village. Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahriya, Parliamentary Secretary Paras Nath Rajwade and Additional Chief Secretary Subrat Sahoo were also present on the occasion.
