New Delhi, (thestates.news) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday. This was the first meeting of the Prime Minister and the President at Rashtrapati Bhavan after the swearing-in ceremony. Rashtrapati Bhavan shared the picture of the meeting with the Prime Minister. Prime Minister greeted the President with a bouquet. Murmu was on Monday sworn in as the 15th President of the country.Former President Pratibha Devisingh Patil along with her daughter also met Droupadi Murmu. Punjab Governor and Administrator of union Territory of Chandigarh Banwarilal Purohit, Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhushan Harichandan, Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra and Bihar Governor Fagu Chauhan also met the President.(HS)
