PM Modi releases 12th installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi

New Delhi, (thestates.news) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 12th installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi here on Monday. Under this scheme, this time ₹2,000 were transferred to the account of more than 11 crore farmers through DBT. On the eve of two day PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had tweeted on Sunday and said that the government is committed to making the lives of food donors easier. He said that along with inaugurating the Kisan Samman Sammelan in Delhi, he would also release the 12th installment of PM-Kisan, more schemes will also be launched.

The Prime Minister on Monday inaugurated the two day PM Kisan Samman 2022 on this occasion. It has been organised in the Mela Campus of the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (Pusa). The Prime Minister released ₹16,000 crore of the 12th installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme, the eligible landholder farmer family gets a financial benefit of ₹6,000 every year. ₹2,000 are given by the government every four months in the account of the beneficiaries of the scheme.

Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has tweeted, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is becoming a participant in the prosperity of farmers. Till now more than 11.3 crore farmers have been benefitted. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived to participate in the conference, will discuss with agricultural scientists and farmers. Along with this, 600 Prime Minister Kisan Samridhi Kendra will begin. Under this scheme, fertilizer shops across the country will be converted into Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samridhi Kendra. Along with this, farmers will be told about fertilizer, seed, soil test.

The Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Fertiliser Project will also be launched during the program. Its objective is One Nation One Fertilizer. Under this, Prime Minister India will launch urea bags. Under this brand name, the composting company will sell its product. More than 1,500 farmers and FPOs, 500 agriculture startups, senior government officials and academicians will also participate in the fair. All of them will share their views with each other. Agri Startup Conclave and Kisan Sammelan will be organized in this two-day fair.(HS)
