President Ram Nath Kovind in Vrindavan today

New Delhi,(thestates.news) : President Ram Nath Kovind is visiting Vrindavan after visiting the Banke Bihari temple where he is interacting with the inmates of Krishna Kutir. President Kovind was received by Governor Anandiben Patel and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on his arrival in Mathura. Tight security arrangements have been made for the President’s visit. Seven SPs, 12 SSPs, 20 CO 40 inspectors, 120 female male ASI 600 soldiers, besides five companies of PAC are deployed for his security. Officials of LIU, IB, Military Intelligence are also keeping an eye on every activity. The President visited Banke Bihari temple, accompanied by six mothers living in Krishna Kutir. The President is meeting 200 widows living in Krishna Kutir who make kanthi garlands, incense sticks etc. to be self-sufficient by staying here.(HS)
