Raipur (thestates.news) | The Primary Health Center in Nari under the Dhamtari district received the National Quality Assurance Standard Certificate from the Central Health and Family Welfare Ministry. This certificate was awarded by the Government of India to the Primary Health Center, Nari for superior work performance in 6 departments. As per the instructions of the Collector Rituraj Raghuvanshi and under the guidance of the Health Department, healthcare services are being continuously expanded in the district. It is for these reasons that the Primary Health Center, Nari has been awarded the N.Q.A.S. certificate on a national level.

The Chief Medical and Health Officer said that on 16 and 17 January 2023, a team of senior specialist doctors from various states of the Government of India scrutinized the standard of work at Primary Health Center, Nari. The team analyzed the work of each department, including the maintenance of documents, services provided to patients, and cleanliness. They also visited all wards and talked to the patients. Thereafter, they evaluated the health center based on pre-defined standards. The certificate was awarded to the hospital after it was found to comply with all the standards and all formalities were fulfilled. The Chief Medical and Health Officer also said that the N.Q.A.S. certification is proof that the hospital is complying with all the standards defined by the Government and is providing proper treatment to patients. It is noteworthy that to ensure better healthcare facilities in Government hospitals, a National Quality Assurance Standard (N.Q.A.S.) team is formed by the Central Government. The team gives marks after surveying institutions according to standards set by various departments and the Government. The 6 departments of Primary Health Center, Nari, namely, OPD, labor room, O.P.D. lab, National Program, and General Administration were given the highest 93.1 percent marks out of 100. Primary Health Center, Nari has been awarded the maximum marks.
