Ravishankar Shukla University is the oldest and the largest university in Chhattisgarh. The University has accomplished glorious achievements over the last six decades. The state government is making rapid progress in the field of education.Colleges have been established in the forest zones of Bastar and Surguja as per the requirement.
Chief Minister welcomed the Keynote Speaker Prof. Y.S. Rajan to Chhattisgarh and said that Professor Rajan has contributed significantly to taking the Indian Space Research Organisation to new heights through his innovation. We are fortunate that the famous Space Scientist Padma Shri Prof. Rajan, who had been the assistant to Bharat Ratna A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, is present with us today on the occasion of the Convocation Ceremony.
Chief Minister said that education is the only medium through which we can realize our dreams.Mr. Baghel said that 76% of the students present in the Convocation Ceremony today are girls. This is a sign of the empowerment of women.Women are becoming empowered.
