Rahul Gandhi to visit Bhopal on June 3

Bhopal,(thestates.news)| Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit Bhopal on June 3 to launch the “Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan” in Madhya Pradesh. During his visit, he will attend various organisational meetings. A meeting was held at the state Congress office, attended by state Congress in-charge Harish Choudhary, state President Jitu Patwari, and other senior leaders, including former Union Minister Arun Yadav, former Minister Kamleshwar Patel, MLA Arif Masood, and state Congress media head Mukesh Nayak. The meeting discussed Gandhi’s visit in detail.

In a post on social media platform X, Patwari said the meeting discussed preparations for Gandhi’s visit. Mukesh Nayak told UNI that Gandhi will launch the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan and attend other meetings. Gandhi’s minute-to-minute programme has not been released yet, but it will be shared with the media once it is out.
The Congress has been out of power in the state since December 2003, except for a brief period from November 2018 to March 2020. The party’s fortunes took a hit when Jyotiraditya Scindia joined the BJP, leading to the collapse of the Congress government in March, 2020.

The party is now trying to strengthen its organisation, and the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan is part of this effort to build organisational strength at the polling booth level across the state.(S-UNI)
