Raipur : Mahila Samriddhi Sammelan : Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel and Smt. Priyanka Gandhi arrived at the event venue

In accordance with Chhattisgarh’s cultural tradition, the guests were welcomed with a ‘Raut Nacha’ folk dance performance at the venue.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel and Smt. Priyanka Gandhi are currently visiting various stalls that are set up at the event venue.

Smt. Priyanka Gandhi interacted with the beneficiaries of Godhan NYAY Yojana initiated by the Chhattisgarh Government to promote animal husbandry.

She gathered information regarding the economic activities being undertaken by women and also inquired about the ongoing initiatives within the Rural Industrial Parks (RIPAs).

It is worth mentioning that RIPA proved to be helpful in promoting new entrepreneurship opportunities, leading to increased industrial activities in rural areas with well-established infrastructure.

Women are overjoyed to have Mrs. Priyanka Gandhi among them, couldn’t resist taking selfies with her. Members of Women Self-Help Groups presented a memento to Mrs. Gandhi.

Mrs. Priyanka Gandhi is visiting the stalls. She asked about the juice of Amari flower at one of the stalls, member of the self-help group concerned briefly explained her about the use of Amari flower.

Smt. Gandhi is engaging in conversations with women who are employed in the BPO established in Khursipar at a cost of Rs 10 crore.

A significant number of women have found employment opportunities in this BPO center. Smt. Gandhi is inquiring about the nature of their work and their experiences.

It is worth mentioning that the BPO initiative aims to connect youth with opportunities both within the country and globally, all while allowing them to remain in their hometown. This initiative is generating extensive employment opportunities for the youth, particularly contributing significantly to women’s empowerment.
