State government declares local holiday for ‘Bhaidooj’ festival
The state government has officially declared a public holiday for the upcoming Govardhan Pooja festival.
In accordance with the directive issued by the General Administration Department, a previously declared local holiday for Govardhan Pooja, November 13, has been declared as a public holiday in the state. However, the Bhaidooj festival, November 15, has been declared as a local holiday for the government offices and institutions situated in Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar, and Raipur city. This local holiday will not apply to banking establishments, treasuries, and sub-treasuries.
