‘RaktDaan Amrit Mahotsav’ begins, union Health Minister joins in

New Delhi,(thestates.news): ‘RaktDaan Amrit Mahotsav’ has started across the country from today. Under this campaign, union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya donated blood in the blood donation camp organised at Safdarjung Hospital. After donating blood, he also encouraged the people in the camp. This campaign will run till October 1. On this occasion, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya said that people can become a participant in this great donation under the ‘RaktDaan Amrit Mahotsav’ which started on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. Expressing happiness, he said that the mind is happy to be involved in this work of humanity, everyone should be a part of this great cause because one’s priceless blood can save one’s life. According to the Ministry of Health, 5,859 authorised camps have been set up across the country in which 50,00,059 blood donors have registered. So far 1,392 blood donours have donated blood. These figures are till Saturday 10 am.(HS)
