Mumbai (Thestates.news)|The rupee on Thursday was seen weak, easing 7 paise at 83.46 against USD in the opening session on rising demand for US dollars by bankers and importers. dealers at the Foreign Exchange said. The domestic unit dropped owing to a strong dollar against other world currencies, despite a strong opening in the stock market.The rupee recorded intraday highs and lows at 83.42 and 83.52, respectively, the dealer added.(UNI)
