Security forces killed 08 Naxalites in Bijapur

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai praised the courage of security forces

Raipur  (thestates.news) | Security forces have got a big success under the Naxal eradication campaign in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. In the encounter between security forces and Maoists during the Naxal eradication campaign in Thana Gangalur area, so far 08 Naxalites’ bodies along with INSAS rifle, VLG launcher and many weapons have been recovered. Security forces fear that many more Naxalites may have been killed or injured in this encounter. At present, intensive search operation is going on in the area.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai praised the security forces on this success and said that the Chhattisgarh government is working with full commitment for Naxal eradication. This is a big success of the security force personnel, I salute their courage. The jawans are fighting against Naxalism with strength. The successful Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi and the Honorable Union Home Minister Mr Amit Shah have resolved to end Naxalism from the country and the state by 31 March 2026. We are succeeding in fulfilling this resolution, Naxalism is counting its last breaths. He said that the goal of our government is to make Bastar completely Naxal-free and accelerate the development of the tribal community. The Chief Minister has appealed to the Maoists in Naxal-affected areas to give up violence and surrender and take advantage of the rehabilitation schemes of the government. This is being considered an important achievement under the Naxal eradication campaign run by the Chhattisgarh government.
