Mumbai(Thestates.news) | The BSE sensex on Monday slipped 229 pts at 79,767.97 in opening session as selling was seen across the board. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) fell 18.70 pts to 24,305.15. The equity market remained under pressure for another session today. The BSE sensex registered intra days high at 80,022 and low at 79,767.97 pts respectively. The NSE registered days high and low at 24,338.85 and 24,262.55 pts respectively.
In 30 scrips, 9 advanced while 21 declined. The Mid cap rose 0.23 pc and Small cap by 0.43 pc.
The losers were Titan by 4.11 pc to Rs 3135, Asian paints by 1.29 pc to Rs 2898, Adani Ports by 1.23 pc to Rs 1482 and Bajaj Finance by 1.08 pc to Rs 7061.25. The gainers were Hind Unilever by 1.23 pc to Rs 2578, Tata motors by 1 22 pc to Rs 1005.95 and ITC by 0.98 pc to Rs 437.90.(UNI)
