Mumbai (Thestates.news) | The BSE Sensex on Wednesday declined 42 points to open at 83,037.13 as selling was seen in Realty, Technology, and IT stocks.
The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) fell 16 points to 25,402.40.
The Sensex registered intra and high and low at 83,155 and 82,949.42 pts, respectively.
The NSE registered days high and low at 25,443.10 and 24,380.80. pts respectively.
The midcap eased 0.09 pc, while the small cap rose by 0.04 pc.
In 30 scrips, 22 advanced while 8 declined. The losers were Tech Mahindra by 3.22 pc to Rs 1601, Infosys by 2.70 pc to Rs 1900, TCS by 2.49 pc to Rs 4391.50, and HCL Technology by 1.91 pc to Rs 1778.05. The gainers were Bajaj Finance by 1.66 pc to Rs 7486, M&M by 0.93 pc to Rs 2814, HDFC by 0.90 pc to Rs 1633.80, and Ultrasemco by 0.69 pc to Rs 11730. (S-UNI)
