Sensex falls 81 points, while Nifty steady at 15,250

New Delhi,(thestates.news): The Sensex and the Nifty, which both rose in early trade on Monday, fluctuated between gains and losses amid high volatility. At 10.30 a.m., the BSE Sensex was trading at 51,279, down 81 points, while the NSE Nifty was at 15,259, down 34 points. Tata Steel was the worst performer on the 30-share Sensex, falling 4.43 percent. Other notable losers included L&T, RIL, NTPC, TechM, and IndusInd. HUL, on the other hand, was the best performer, rising 3.21 percent. The stock prices of HDFC, UltraCemco, HDFC Bank, Nestle, Wipro, and Asian Paint were all slightly higher.
