Mumbai (Thestates.news) | The BSE Sensex remained positive for the third straight session on Friday, advancing 392 points at 75,467 in opening trade as buying was seen across the board. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) too, rose 102.10 points at 22,923.50. The Sensex registered intraday high and low at 75,698.71 and 74,941.88 points, respectively. The NSE registered days high and low at 23,004.85 and 22,789.05 points, respectively.
The Mid cap rose 0.47 per cent and Small Cap by 1.36 per cent. In 30 scrips, 22 advanced while 8 declined.
The gainers were Wipro by 4.76 per cent to Rs 482.95; Tech Mahindra by 3.48 per cent to Rs 1,364; Infosys by 3.15 per cent to Rs 1,518.90 and Bajaj finance by 2.42 per cent to Rs 7,091.10. The losers were IndusInd Bank by 0.63 per cent to Rs 1,471.15; ITC by 0.49 per cent to Rs 433.65; Kotak Bank by 0.15 per cent to Rs 1,732.40 and Maruti Suzuki by 0.12 per cent to Rs 12,660.30. Meanwhile, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday kept key repo rate unchanged in its Monetary Policy at 6.5 per cent.(UNI)
