Shinde remembers Balasaheb Thackeray, Anand Dighe before taking oath as DyCM

Mumbai,(thestates.news) | Shiv Sena (Shinde) chief Eknath Shinde, before taking oath as Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister at a grand ceremony held at Azad Maidan in Mumbai, on Thursday remembered his mentor Balasaheb Thackeray and his guru, Anand Dighe while expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

“My respects to Hinduhruday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray, remembering my Guru Dharmaveer Anand Dighe. Under the strong leadership and the blessing of PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah and by the support of the 13 crore voters of Maharashtra,” said Shinde before his oath was administered by Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan.

The event witnessed the presence of several senior leaders, including PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP president J P Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and chief ministers and deputy chief ministers from NDA-ruled states. Several Union Ministers and other NDA leaders also attended.(UNI)
