Shiv Sena to attend Mamata meet in Delhi on June 15

Mumbai,(thestates.news) : Shiv Sena Spokesperson and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut said that a prominent leader of Shiv Sena will participate in the June 15, meeting convened by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee regarding the presidential elections. Raut told reporters on Sunday that Congress President Sonia Gandhi had approached the Leader of the Opposition, including Sharad Pawar, regarding the presidential election. Earlier, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wrote a letter inviting the leaders and chief ministers of non-BJP parties including Shiv Sena for the meeting.

This invitation has also come to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Though the Chief Minister will not be able to attend the meeting due to the already fixed schedule, a representative of Shiv Sena will be present in the meeting. Sanjay Raut has accused the Central Election Commission and the union Home Ministry of interfering in the Rajya Sabha elections. He said that the BJP leaders of Maharashtra hatched a conspiracy to cancel the voting of several MLAs of Mahavikas Aghadi, including Shiv Sena MLAs. He said, We have named the MLAs who betrayed us. We have expressed our feelings about the MLAs. We do not intend to insult them because if we get Enforcement Directorate (ED) for two days, Fadnavis (former Chief Minister) will also vote for Shiv Sena.(HS)
