New Delhi,( thestates.news)| Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is to meet the heads of public sector banks (PSBs) on Monday and assess banks’ performance on various government-sponsored schemes aimed at reviving the economy. This is the first meeting after the union Budget for 2022-23 was presented. According to sources, banks will be urged to extend more credit to productive sectors in order to hasten the economy’s recovery.
