Sri Gundi Jatra begins with performing of puja by Governor  

Mumbai (Thestates.news)| Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais performed the puja and aarti of goddess Sri Gundi to mark the commencement of the annual jatra (fair) at the Sri Gundi temple located in the Raj Bhavan premises in Mumbai on Tue (4 July). The Governor garlanded the idols of Goddess Sri Gundi and joined the aarti alongwith the devotees assembled on the occasion.The Governor also performed puja at the Sri Mahalaxmi, Durga, Mahadeo and Hanuman deities and interacted with the devotees.The annual jatra of the Sri Gundi temple in Raj Bhavan is held on Tuesday immediately following the Guru Purnima day annually.
