New Delhi(thestates.news)| : The Supreme Court has refused to hear a petition seeking to declare the cow as the national animal. The court allowed the petitioner to withdraw the petition. During the hearing, the court expressed displeasure over the petition and questioned whether it is court’s job to decide. The court asked the petitioner whose fundamental right is being violated, which has been filed under section 32. Petitioner Govansh Seva Sadan said that this would help in the protection of cows. The Supreme Court said whether it is the job of the court to decide the national animal of the country, will the court hear any case keeping the rules and regulations in mind?(HS)
