Amethi (thestates.news)| Union Minister Smriti Irani on Saturday launched a scathing attack on I.N.D.I Alliance and Congress and said that those who bowed their heads at Babar’s tomb are rejecting the invitation for the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram in Ayodhya.
While talking to the media after participating in the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Irani said that the hearts of Congress leaders are bleeding as the consecration ceremony is taking place in the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya. “When Ram Lalla was in the tent, Congress had no problems,” she said..
On the third day of her visit to her parliamentary constituency Amethi, she said that the brutal assault on three sadhus in West Bengal was unfortunate. “Wherever there is the government of India Alliance, or they have dominance and are allies of Congress, the persecution of those who believe in Sanatan Dharma is increasing even today,” she alleged.
The Union Minister alleged that the Congress-led alliance talks about religion with disrespect. She said that this reflects the values of the Congress and the Gandhi family.
She said, “Those who paid obeisance at Babar’s tomb are today rejecting the invitation for consecration in the Ram temple. Congress had no problem as long as Ram Lala was present in the tent. Today when the consecration ceremony is taking place in the grand temple, the hearts of the Congress leaders are bleeding.”
Irani appealed to the devotees to light a lamp in their houses on the consecration day. “I appeal to the devotees that they must light a lamp in the house on January 22. If Ram is in your mind then you have to do service in the name of Ram. Do some service for the poor. This shows our faith in Lord Ram,” she said.
She said, “As devotees, let us make our small contribution on this historic occasion of consecration ceremony. Every religion has been respected under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi’s resolution saved the heritage of our country and increased the development.”
Earlier during the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the Union Minister distributed certificates to the beneficiaries. After taking complaint letters from the people, she directed the officials to resolve the problems.
