Mumbai(thestates.news)|Singer Krishna Kumar alias KK’s father performed the last rites at the Versova crematorium in Mumbai on Thursday afternoon. Thousands of emotional fans, chanting ‘KK Amar Rahe‘, joined during the funeral procession from his Mumbai residence to the crematorium.
KK, after performing at the Nazrul Manch of Gurdas College in Kolkata, suffered a cardiac arrest in his hotel and was rushed to the hospital, where he died. KK’s body was brought to Mumbai late on Wednesday night. The body was kept for the fans to get the last glimpse of KK. All the stalwarts of the Bollywood also attended KK’s funeral. Singers Udit Narayan, Rahul Vaidya, Toshi Sabri, Abhijeet Bhattacharya and Javed Ali came to KK’s house to pay their last respects. When his funeral procession left for the singer’s funeral, everyone’s eyes were moist with pain in their heart.(HS)
