Tribal Farmer gives Rs 100 to Chief Minister as reward : “I have earned Rs 32 thousand by selling cowdung”, told farmer to Chief Minister

Chief Minister gracefully accepted the affectionate gift

Raipur (the states. news) During his tour of Korba district, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today visited Pali Tanakhar MLA Mr. Mohit Ram Kerketta’s village Polmi, where a tribal farmer met him and told that he has earned Rs 32 thousand by selling cowdung. He also gifted Rs 100 from his earnings to Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. Touched by this affectionate gesture, Chief Minister accepted his gift gracefully and thanked him.
Mr. Narayan Singh, a farmer from village Puta of Pali block in Korba district, is the beneficiary of Godhan Nyay Yojana and has earned Rs 32 thousand by selling cowdung at gothan. Mr. Narayan Singh thanked Chief Minister for implementing Godhan Nyay Yojana and gifted him ‘paati’ (thank you letter) written in Chhattisgarhi.

Farmer Mr. Narayan Singh informed Chief Minister that the payment recieved under Godhan Nyay Yojana against cowdung procurement helps him to fulfill the needs of his family. Regular income from cowdung selling have improved their financial condition. Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh is the first state of the country to procure dung for providing additional source of income to poor people. State Government’s goal is to provide benefits of schemes to even the last person of the last row and to empower each and every citizen financially.
