Raipur (thestates.news) | In a bid to ensure that people don’t stand in queues and wait for their turn or make multiple rounds of the transport offices, the “Tuhar Sarkar Tuhar Dwaar” facility is being implemented by the Transport Department covering doorstep delivery of various transport related services.
Under the scheme, being operated as per directions of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel and Transport Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar, more than 12.95 lakh smart card-based registration certificates and driving licenses have been delivered to the doorstep of applicants since June 2021. This includes 08 lakh 68 thousand 527 smart card-based registration certificates and 04 lakh 26 thousand 247 driving licenses.
Continuous monitoring of the same is being done by Transport Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar for the orderly operation of this scheme. Under this, 22 transport-related services are being provided to the people at their doorstep. Under this public-centric facility, people no longer need to make multiple rounds of the transport offices for getting their work done. This saves both money and time for the applicants.
Transport Department officials informed that a helpline number +91-75808-08030 has been issued by the department to make this service more accessible. The service is available from 10 am to 5.30 pm on all working days. Applicants can also get the desired information by sending their queries to the e-mail id firstname.lastname@example.org.
