Union Health Ministry Harsh Vardhan allays Covid-19 vaccine fears

New Delhi, (the states. news) Urging everyone to take COVID-19 vaccine shots, Union Health Ministry Harsh Vardhan on Friday said that no one should have any doubts about the vaccines.
“No one should have any doubts about the (#Corona_virus Covid-19 vaccines. I urge all to take the vaccine shots,” Vardhan said in Lok Sabha.
According to the Centre, vaccine hesitancy, inadequate training of vaccinators in drawing vaccine from multi-dose vials and lack of detailed planning at sites as 2 key gaps have lead to its wastage across the country.
Meanwhile, India on Friday recorded 39,726 new cases of COVID-19 during the past 24 hours, pushing the country caseload to 1,15,14,331, while the death toll soared to 1,59,370 with 154 more fatalities.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the active cases rose by 18,918 to stand at 2,71,282. It is now 2.20 per cent of the total caseload. (uni) (media saheb.com)
