New Delhi, (thestates.news): The union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final result of UPSC Civil Services Examination 2021 on Monday. Shruti Sharma, Ankita Agarwal and Gamini Singla have secured top three positions, respectively. The UPSC has recommended the names of 685 candidates for appointment. These include 244 general, 73 EWS, 203 OBC, 105 SC and 60 ST category candidates. Shruti is an alumnus of St Stephen’s College and Jawaharlal Nehru University and was preparing for UPSC Civil Services Examination at Jamia Millia Islamia Residential Coaching Academy. UPSC CSE Preliminary exam was conducted on October 10, 2021 and the result of the exam was released on October 29. The main examination was conducted between January 7-16, 2022 and the result was declared on March 17, 2022. The interview was the last round of the exam which started on April 5, and concluded on May 26. (H.S.)
